In this day workshop we will be looking into the complex region of our body that is a meeting, a convergence of many systems of the body, the main structures that gives us stability as well as mobility. It is the seat or base of the spinal column as well as the outlet of the sacral plexus, it is the container of the gestation of life. This whole region is the locus of the apana vayu. In the yogic tradition the apana vayu is the downward-moving vital energy, governing all forms of elimination (physical, mental & energetic). It promotes grounding, stability, and release. It controls excretory functions like urination, defecation, menstruation, and childbirth, as well as the release of stale thoughts, emotions, and toxins.

The main requirement will be curiosity and the willingness to examine through experimentation. Mostly suitable for all students and teachers alike who have studied and practiced regularly for the past 2 years.
